Task Planning for Multiple-Satellite Space-Situational-Awareness Systems

Space situational awareness (SSA) plays an important role in maintaining space advantages. Task planning is one of the key technologies SSA to allocate multiple tasks satellites, so that a satellite may be allocated supervise objects, and object supervised by satellites. This paper proposes hierarchical distributed task-planning framework for systems with focus on fast effective task customized SSA. In framework, global task-planner layer performs clustering, satellites are clustered into unique clusters basis their positions, while objects possibly intersecting clusters, hence allowing single each cluster, local planner using contract-net protocol (CNP) position velocity objects. addition, discrete particle swarm optimization (DPSO) algorithm was developed search optimal result CNP. Simulation results showed proposed can effectively achieve among The efficiency scalability demonstrated through static dynamic orbital simulations.
